PATRIMONIONATURAL

Puebla was located by its founders in a privileged place. Four amazing volcanoes guard it, a closer than others. The slopes of these volcanoes forests supplied rivers and the aquifer of the city and its surroundings. Two splendid rivers encircling the city to the West and the East: the Atoyac River and the Rio San Francisco with other rivers such as the Alseseca, the Rabanillo, Zapatero and El Chinguiñoso, all with its wooded banks and unique fauna of these places. Fourteen kilometers from the Atoyac continue across the city with its riparian trees. Rio San Francisco were saved from the entubamiento of which was the victim. I just see a painting of José Márquez, this extraordinary painter of the city that we went, which still are the bridges in the San Francisco and its trees during the autumn. By the way that the House of the painter has been turned into a terrifying offices, crossed by the pedestrian bridge that leads to the Convention Center. A museum with the acquis of the extraordinary work of José Márquez, the painter par excellence of the city of Puebla in the 20th century should there be. Puebla also had 19 regulatory vessels similar to San Baltazar lagoon, now covered with houses and cement except two: one yet rescue is what remains of the Chapulco lagoon and San Baltazar lagoon. Puebla was also, from 1940, with an impressive Dam just thirty minutes from the city. The rugged and extraordinary landscape of Valsequillo also offered us a view of the volcanoes reflected on the water, and the possibility of a tourism development for highly original Puebla. Almost everything we have lost. All the rivers that cross Puebla are contaminated. That should exist in the rivers that still not have been tubed, coastal parks are full of garbage and debris. Seven years ago that we present to the appropriate authorities the comprehensive plan for the rescue of the banks of the Atoyac. Pan and priistas not considered essential that project. No civilized city gives back its rivers. Imagine Paris without the Seine? Here do not want them. Everything is there, forgotten, waiting for a statesman - that no political - to resume the subject of the natural heritage of Puebla, or at least what is left of him and give him the very first importance the care of the natural heritage should be for all who live here. In 1910 Puebla had many parks, considering the small size of the city at that time. Had the brave walk and walk San Francisco, with its Lake and its "walk of the pescaditos". Live in Puebla must have been a privilege. Any part of the city you could see the volcanoes or the Malinche: every three or four streets had a lush Park where the walk. The hills of Loreto and Guadalupe offered a single view of the city, with its rivers and its volcanoes that envidiarían many cities in the world. All what we have lost. Horrible "spectacular" unregulated obscuring us the view of all this beauty is still there. There has been a political deal with preserve at least some points of the city from which any inhabitant of Puebla to contemplate the landscape. Green zones enacted for the modern 21st century Puebla have been swallowed by the voracity of the fraccionadores and their accomplices from the Government. SMP driven pipeline the slices new, from luxury to the popular, just and minimally meet green areas that should by law donate to the city. That is why I have spoken in all these years on the importance of having a heart citizen for all those spaces that are of interest and love. Politicians are step in their jobs, but people should not be passing through our city. Here were born, here we have been reasonably happy, here we should give a little of our time and energy to a city that is urgida our delivery. Puebla can still re
